Our terms and conditions define the policies and procedures we have established for the smooth operation of bookings, providing useful information and guarantees for the consumer.
Upon booking, guests must review the general conditions and rules regarding the stay beforehand, committing themselves to complying with them.
1 - BOOKING POLICY
Bookings made by email, telephone, or through our website are accepted. After the booking process, a confirmation receipt with all the details will be sent so that it can be confirmed by the guest.
Once validated, a bank transfer of 100% of the total booking amount must be made in order to complete the reservation. The payment deadline is 48 hours, and it is required to send the proof of payment by email to booking@darm.pt. After the proof is sent, the booking will be confirmed by DARM - HISTORIC GLAM HOUSE. Bookings will be validated according to the order of arrival of the booking confirmations.
Unless specified otherwise, the minimum stay is one night.
2 - CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in: from 15:00
Check-out: until 11:30
On the date of departure, the guest must vacate the room of all people and belongings, leaving it free of any damage by 11:30.
Check-in and check-out may take place outside the defined hours, provided that availability is verified with the management and that these changes do not affect other bookings and/or the cleaning schedule of the accommodation unit. An additional fee of €10 may be charged.
If the accommodation is not vacated by 11:30 on the day of check-out, without any prior justification or consent from DARM - HISTORIC GLAM HOUSE, compensation will be charged immediately.
3 - CANCELLATION POLICY
To cancel or change the dates of your booking, please send us an email at booking@darm.pt. Only cancellations or changes received through this channel will be accepted.
The cancellation of the booking is subject to the following conditions:
Up to 14 days before the check-in date, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the booking (100% of the stay value);
Within 7 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged;
In case the guest does not show up on the scheduled check-in date, the amount corresponding to the first night will be charged.
In force majeure situations, duly proven by the guest, where an early departure (prior to the check-out date) or a cancellation of the booking is necessary, DARM - HISTORIC GLAM HOUSE will issue a Voucher to the Guest for a future stay, to be scheduled according to the availability of the accommodation.
4 - BOOKING CHANGES
Should you wish to make changes to the initial booking, such as changing the check-in or check-out date, the guest must communicate this intention to us by email. Whenever possible, we will proceed with the requested changes.
Regarding date changes, these are permitted upon payment of the difference between the low-season and high-season rates.
Date changes must be requested up to 3 days before the initially booked date. That is, changes are not accepted on the day prior to the initially scheduled date. A booking can only be rescheduled once, and for a booking that has already been rescheduled, the general cancellation conditions apply to the amount initially paid.
5 - CLEANING
Upon your arrival, the apartment will be clean and ready to occupy, with bed linen and bath towels provided.
During the stay, the cleaning of the apartment is the responsibility of the guests.
